Assists with changeovers, die changes, makes adjustments, makes product changes, and checks product for quality. Principle Duties, Responsibilities, and Authority Reviews orders from a defined specification sheet or receives instructions from Supervisor to ensure that materials and specifications are correct. Operates and repairs basic machinery. Performs start-up and shutdown procedures for production line. Checks for adherence to customer specifications, accurate roll count and production records. Operates chain hoist or other equipment to load raw material. Monitors and assists in maintaining raw materials and supplies used in production. Maintains a clean, safe and orderly work area. Work overtime as required.
