What you will be doing:
- Designing and implementing controls system software (PLC/HMI/GUI).
- Working with other controls engineers and supervising or training associate engineers.
- Creating virtual commissioning models of paint and sealer cells.
- Importing 3D models and applying kinematics.
- Interfacing and emulating PLC, GUI.
- Programming and debugging PLC programs.
- Writing standard operating procedures.
- Supporting integration on the FAC floor and field installation.
- Providing support for current systems.
- Traveling to customer facilities for onsite debug.
- Hosting internal and external training sessions or sales demos.
Experience you will need:
- Familiarity with various networking protocols.
- Experience with one or more of the following PLC brands: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi.
- Experience with virtual commissioning software such as Process Simulate or Emulate3D.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and pneumatic devices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Leadership skills and customer satisfaction focus.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of PLC or PC software programming experience.
- Experience with system engineering, design or assembly related to robotic automation systems.
- Experience with Virtual Commissioning/Digital Twin.
