A New Jersey-based services company is looking to add a new Process Engineer to join their growing staff. In this role, the Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting all the engineering activities on the day-to-day basis as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
- Following up all the samples per list maintained by the expeditor and recording all the process critical parameters by writing memorandums, taking pictures and ensuring that all data is properly recorded and collected by auditing the process
- Expediting samples as required throughout the process and monitoring all the issues to ensure a timely fulfillment of commitments to the customer
- Supporting the Director of Lean Manufacturing in the continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing area as assigned by the Engineering Manager
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Engineering and/or Technical experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or a related field
- Knowledge of technical writing, technical manufacturing, QSLP-9 (Process Control), QSLP-20 (Statistical Techniques), QSLP-5 (Document and Data Control) and QSLP-19 (training)
- Knowledge of safe operation of all foundry equipment
- Knowledge of the required OSHA standards
- Knowledge of the required use of safety glasses and shoes when working or entering any foundry department
- Previous Quality System Training: AS9100B, ISO System training, QSLP-2, QSLP-5, QSLP-9, QSLP-9, QSLP-19, QSLP-20
