Were hiring an Associate Vice President, Development in Dallas, TX.
The Associate Vice President (AVP) will lead the Dallas Go Red For Women fundraising campaign. This campaign includes our signature Go Red For Women Luncheon event with an annual fundraising goal of $2M plus. The AVP also provides strategic direction and management to a team of fundraisers and support staff.
We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers. This position offers a hybrid schedule. The office is located in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Build strong volunteer leadership relationships through active stewardship and cultivation to accomplish results. Including recruitment and management of event chairs.
- Create a course of action to accomplish fundraising and health goals in support of the mission.
- Sustain existing, and build new, corporate and community partnerships, and partnerships with affluent individual donors and foundations.
- Cultivate major donors, securing large corporate sponsorships, and identifying and securing foundation gifts.
- Participating in and leading top-level cultivation strategies and engagements.
- Lead and coach a team of fundraisers and support staff. Recruit, interview, hire, orient, and train potential new hires.
- Participate as a member of the Dallas Senior Leadership Team.
- Regular communication with team to review the status of goals, both individual and campaign, and recommend changes or approaches that will enhance the efficiency of the Go Red campaign.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5 years successful experience in non-profit fundraising or similar experience.
- 3 years of managerial experience, ideally with a sales or fundraising team in a similar organization.
- Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-suite level.
- Direct knowledge of special event fundraising tactics is crucial.
- Ability to travel the Dallas area daily; always requires access to reliable transportation on an immediate basis.
- Understanding of how to engage and work within philanthropic communities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
