Automotive Master Service Technician

Charlie's Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, one of the area's largest automotive dealers, has an immediate opening for a Master Service Technician. We are paying $60 per flat rate hour including ALL WARRANTY REPAIRS!!! As a Master Service Technician, you will utilize your vehicle maintenance expertise to perform vehicle maintenance and repair working according to dealer and factory standards. Service Techs at Charlie's Dodge can expect a clean, safe and state-of-the-art work environment.What We Offer: Competitive Hourly Pay $60 per hourUp To $60 Per Hour Based On Training LevelsGrowing Service Department401k with Company MatchPaid VacationMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceLife InsurancePaid TrainingJob Responsibilities:Inspect and diagnose automotive and light duty trucks repairs neededTroubleshoot and diagnose computer control system components, using scanners and/or laptop computersRepairs or replaces engines, transmissions, brake , and air conditioning/climate control systemsRepairs or replaces, electrical, electronic and computer controls and fuel systemsPerforms preventive maintenance and services vehicles by lubricating, changing oil, and servicing transmissionsPerforms tune ups and replaces alternators/voltage regulators and replaces or repairs ignition systemsReplaces wheel bearings, universal joints, main bearings, head gaskets, pistons, rings, and hydraulic valve-liftersQualifications & Requirements:2-3 years of automotive diagnosis and problem solving experienceValid driver's license and fairly clean driving record (no major violations)ASE Certifications preferredSolid organizational and time management skillsExcellent communications and interpersonal skillsPassion and understanding of the industryAttention to detailCharlie's Dodge is one of the region's best dealerships, serving the Maumee, Toledo, Sylvania, Oregon and Perrysburg communities in Ohio since 1959.
