Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for the daily operations for a small supply chain company based in Eau Claire, WI with regional hubs located across Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Primarily focus is managing drivers and vehicles to ensure timely pickup and delivery of items throughout the day. This is a fast paced and dynamic job with fluctuation in customer and volume daily. Critical supplies are transferred across the state every day so attention to detail and operational focus are a must. Hiring and management of 30+ people plus assets including Box trucks, cube vans, and minivans/sedans.

This is a 24 hour a day, 365-day operation servicing the southwest portion of Wisconsin. Occasional routes are scheduled for Minnesota, Iowa, or Illinois.

The ability to communicate effectively with employees, peers, and corporate officials is vital to success. Serves as the corporate lead within the region thus must be able to work independently to achieve operational success.

Knowledge of the trucking industry, supply chain management fundamentals, scheduling/dispatch and/or personnel management are all skills associated with the position. The ability to use smart phones and computers in a necessity for operational understanding and communications across the company.

Hiring is contingent on passing both background and Motor Vehicle record checks.

Experience managing a team, knowledge/experience in the Courier/Trucking industries, Transportation/Logistics background a plus, thrive in a fast-paced work environment that is ever changing. Ability to make decisions quickly and manage others to maintain 24/7 operations within your team. The ability to use smart phones and computers in a necessity for operational understanding and communications across the company.
