We are seeking a dedicated and innovative ServiceNow Developer to join the NIRA project team, a key initiative in the FDA's digital transformation journey. This role is crucial for developing and implementing information dashboard and process automation solutions that align with the FDA IT Strategy's objectives, including enhancing collaboration, strengthening infrastructure, and modernizing services.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Development:
Follow an agile software development methodology for planning, implementing, and delivering ServiceNow capabilities.
Implement the full software development life cycle to support the deployment of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
Provide ServiceNow integration support with external systems and data sources.
Workflow and Scripting:
Create and manage workflows, business rules, and scripts.
Configure application User Interface (UI) and define data tables, user interfaces, and APIs in ServiceNow applications.
Customer Engagement:
Support engagement with business users to understand and document current and future business processes.
Provide technical expertise on all technical questions related to assigned development on the ServiceNow platform.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card Holder) required. Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform.
5+ years of development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, or other programming languages.
Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
Experience with the development of reports using business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and experience integrating solutions within complex IT infrastructures.
Understanding of Business Process Management System (BPMS) and Business Process Modeling Notations (BPMN).
