HiFyve is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer in Springfield, MO.Day ShiftFull Benefits PackageEntry-Level - $65k - $90k / per yearJob Description Design, analyze, and test product linesTroubleshooting and resolution Perform structural and thermal performance calculationsTesting product lines Testing equipmentWorking cross-functionally with the sales, manufacturing, quality, and customersInterpret and gather data from testingImplementing design improvementsIntroducing and training on new manufacturing processesUpdating training documentationEnforcing safety and complianceContact vendors as needed All other duties as assigned Qualifications2-5 years of design experience requiredExperience working with pressure vessels, fluid handling systems, or similar industries.BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant work experience Proficiency in relevant standards such as ASME, showcasing knowledge of industry benchmarks.Application of engineering principles and techniques to problem-solving and innovation.Proficient understanding and application of various fabrication methods and installation procedures.Comprehensive grasp of materials, encompassing their characteristics, tolerances, and limitations across a broad spectrum.Fundamental comprehension of the functioning of diverse mechanical systems.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor software for design purposes.Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, fostering effective collaboration and information exchange.Proactive approach, exhibiting initiative to go beyond assigned duties when necessary.Versatility in working independently or collaboratively within team environments.Skilled in establishing and nurturing professional relationships across all organizational levels.Efficient utilization of Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication purposes.
