LyondellBasell is significantly stepping up its sustainability commitments, execution and visibility with ambitious corporate sustainability strategies and targets. The Senior Manager, Sustainability and Reporting - in collaboration with key internal stakeholders will advance LYB's Sustainability Disclosure & performance for the company.
You are a motivated and engaged Sustainability professional, understanding the role it plays in influencing organizations and generating positive impact on people, society and the planet. You have the ability to influence and can communicate clearly and effectively translating Sustainability concepts for a range of audiences. You have deep experience in planning and executing corporate sustainability reporting across multiple regulatory and voluntary ESG reporting standards, frameworks, best practices and evolving market trends.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and project manage the annual sustainability report including delivery on complex timelines, collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders and alignment of LYB sustainability disclosures across multiple reports and channels.
- Optimize and implement a strong disclosure environment for sustainability reporting to enhance interpretation, application and compliance with ESG regulatory requirements (SEC, CSRD, and ISSB)
- Project manage, guide and implement LYB double materiality process aligned with ESG regulatory and voluntary requirements.
- Lead the co-ordination and optimization of LYB ESG assessments including investor analyst surveys and questionnaires such as MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, S&P Global, FTSE4Good, EcoVadis and CDP to enhance LYB responses that demonstrate our ESG strategy and roadmap.
- Optimize development and implementation of management reporting on ESG issues particularly board level reporting.
- Manage sustainability related content in collaboration with communication department on internal and external LYB platforms
- Provide training to wide range of stakeholders on the ESG disclosure and reporting requirements
- Understand emerging global and regional ESG, climate change, and sustainability related trends to enhance ESG responses on a range of topics.
- Collaborate cross functionally and communicate effectively with various departments throughout the organization.
Min. Qualifications
- University Degree in business, sustainability, law, policy, finance or related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience working in sustainability, ESG, legal or public policy fields.
- Proven experience in delivering Sustainability reporting for listed companies.
- Proven experience with interpreting and implementing sustainability reporting frameworks (voluntary and regulatory).
- Ability to take ownership, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to apply strategic thinking and demonstrate understanding of requirements to execute.
- Experience coordinating large projects across a large number of stakeholders with differing interests.
- Ability to deliver in ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in an agile environment.
- Strong process and systems experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree (Masters of Business Administration or similar) preferred (or equivalent)
