Description
The primary aim of the Managing Associate in Houston, TX, is to hire, coach, monitor, maintain, and expand a team of Financial Representatives at all levels of professional experience. The Managing Associate also assists the General Manager with the overall marketing, growth, and development of the organization.
Responsibilities
•Lead recruiting and training efforts to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in Houston, TX.
•Source and hire competent Financial Representative candidates in Houston, TX.
•Facilitate training and provide guidance to Financial Representatives, equipping them with the tools for success.
•Monitor development and progress, and provide regular updates to the General Agent and management team to ensure the success and stability of each representative.
•Periodically collaborate with field personnel to assess and enhance their sales, prospecting, and referral capabilities.
Qualifications
•A College degree or equivalent work experience is required for the position of Managing Associate in Houston, TX, US.
•While professional designations such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP are preferred, they are not mandatory.
•Preferred qualifications include FINRA series 7 and 66 certifications.
•The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of sales experience in the insurance industry, with at least 3-5 years in field management or agency distribution systems.
•Demonstrated success in firm building and recruitment is a plus for this role.
