Job Description
The Department of Special Education invites applications for a tenure-track position as Director / Assistant Professor beginning August 2024.
The director of the MA Program in Applied Behavior Analysis will be responsible for the leadership and management of the program. This includes curriculum development; faculty recruitment, support, and supervision; student admissions; coordination of field placements in the community; and communication with accrediting organizations. The director will be responsible for ensuring the program aligns with the standards and procedures outlined by accrediting organizations.
Candidates interviewing on campus must submit unofficial transcripts (UG & G) directly to the Chair of the search committee.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in higher education, including program administration and teaching.
- Prior experience working in the field as a behavior analyst.
- Experience in online course development and delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage an academic program.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential preferred.
