Job Description **The Job:
As a Team Leader / Senior Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):**
* Team management, scheduling, delegation, mentorship
* Project management and coordination in relation to scope and budget
* Innovative and complex mechanical/HVAC system design
* Specifications and calculations
* Site observations
* Oversight of support staff
* Quality control
* Providing exemplary service to team members as well as clients
**The successful candidate will have:**
* Bachelor of Science (or equivalent experience)
* 10+ years design consulting or design-build experience
* A significant entrepreneurial spirit and high level of client satisfaction with a positive personality
* Fantastic communication skills
* Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in healthcare, educational, commercial sectors, and progressive sustainable design.
* Knowledge of industry codes and standards
* Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
**Preferred certifications/accreditation for this role will include:**
* LEED Accreditation
* Professional Engineering License

You will be partnered with our current Team, Leaders, and Principal in Oakland as well as our partners and team members in San Francisco.
