**Position Purpose**
Labor Associates are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of building materials and ensure that operations at their Location run smoothly. They are an important part of the safe, timely, and correct delivery of our products.
**Essential Functions**
* Assist with pre-delivery and post-delivery vehicle inspections as needed
* Rides along on deliveries, assists with the safe, timely, and correct delivery of products to work sites
* Safely packs building materials for delivery to job sites
* Assists with upkeep on Company equipment as needed
* Provides log sheets of daily activity and any other required paperwork as needed
* Safely operates forklifts, trains others as needed
* Conducts inventory checklists as needed
* Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required
* Performs other necessary functions as assigned
**Qualifications Necessary**
Knowledge
* 1-3 years related experience in construction and general labor preferred
Physical
* Ability to sit, stand, lift, and carry 70-100 lbs easily and safely
Interpersonal
* Safety-focused and service oriented
* A positive attitude and the ability to maintain professional, long-term co-worker, customer, vendor, and business relationships
* Service-oriented and a dedication to win customers 'for life'
* Strong professional verbal and written communications skills
* Ability to work effectively across all levels of management
