Description
The Operator is responsible for the safe execution of all cased hole services being provided at the wellsite. The Operator will assist in the load out of all equipment needed for the job, performs tasks essential for the safe completion of the job along with the transportation, cleanup and maintenance after the job. Equipment will be turned around and prepared for the next job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with all safety policies and regulations applicable to the job
- Drives company vehicles in accordance to DOT regulations and company policy
- Assists in load out, rig up, well operations, rig down, transportation, cleanup and turning around all equipment in preparation for the next job
- Maintains company vehicles, tools and equipment
- Maintains a clean and safe shop, wireline unit and field work location
- Completes all job related paperwork, driver's logs, pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all time
- Receive and maintain clearance to operate explosive material with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF)
- They will perform other duties assigned
- They work under the direction of the District Manager
Safety
- In order to comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, must be able to pass a "DOT" physical, secure and maintain at minimum a Class "B" CDL with an "H" endorsement
- Work in all types of weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat and cold and high humidity) for extended periods of time.
- Work in a toxic environment (Hydrogen Sulfide Gas) while wearing a self-contained breathing apparatus with full face sealed respiratory equipment weighing ±30 lbs.
- Work at remote locations ±2 hours from the nearest medical facility
- Work comfortably up to 15' above ground wearing the appropriate fall protection designated for the job
- Lift objects weighing up to ±70 lbs.
- Work in an environment where constant pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, turning, stretching, bending, stooping, etc. is required
