ETC is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join our growing RAYN product team! This exciting new position will involve developing new fixtures and controls related to our horticultural lighting lines. We're excited to utilize the knowledge and capabilities of our current systems and ramp this up from research systems to large commercial spaces. This is an opportunity to be involved in the research and development of our expanding product offerings that will help shape the future of horticultural lighting!
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with smaller teams and is looking to use their knowledge and experience to help us move forward. This position requires a technical bachelor's degree. Any prior experience creating fixtures or control systems, or DMX knowledge, would be a plus.

Representative Responsibilities:
•Assumes design responsibility for portions of project engineering.
•With minimal supervision, makes design modifications or improvements to existing and special projects.
•Analyzes project problems to determine probable cause and potential solutions.
•Conducts necessary investigative work pertinent to designs.
•Provides input to the performance reviews of engineering assistants and designers.
•May be involved in the compilation of project schedules, specifications, test plans, equipment purchases, release related documentation, and other duties as assigned.
•May be involved in departmental process and quality programs.
•Perform more complex analog and digital circuit designs and schematic capture.
•Bring up new designs of more complex circuits.
•Coordinates design validation testing.
•Performs or assists in thermal design and analysis
•Performs other duties as assigned
•Completes special projects and assignments in a positive and timely manner
Minimum Qualifications:
•Technical Bachelor's Degree
•All levels of previous related experience will be considered
•Good group interaction skills.
