YOUR ROLE:
The Experience Strategist functions as a member of the Strategy team. You are expected to become an expert on your client's brand, business, customer, market and competitive landscape. Proficient at unearthing consumer insights through research and behavioral data, you will apply those findings to create personalized brand experiences across the consumer journey. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and is savvy, motivated, positive, and inquisitive.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Become an expert on client business, categories, consumers and value propositions.
- Partner with client services to help diagnose business problems and draft briefing materials for strategic and creative deliverables.
- Partner with Creative, UX and Tech to collaborate on and to realize strategies, roadmaps and plans.
- Architect data-driven communications strategy to drive consumer acquisition and retention across online and offline channels. (Paid social, display, email, Print, DM)
- Partner with agency & clients analytics team to develop learning agenda and test plan to optimize performance overtime.
- Monitor competitor strategies and the evolving innovation, experience and media landscape.
- Serve as collaborative member of the Strategy team, including participation in brainstorms, work sessions, creative development reviews, research, analytics, reporting, etc.
- Write and speak clearly and intelligently about complex ideas, systems, and strategies.
- Support workshop development and activities.
- Become intimately familiar with all research tools, and use those tools to provide research inputs, including desk research, secondary and primary methods.
- Identify and coordinate presentations from potential vendors, media partners, thought leaders and subject matter experts that will benefit the team and Strategy product.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years of experience in strategic planning or related role within Digital, Direct marketing/ CRM agency or consulting
- Direct Response/ Precision marketing experience
- Experience writing, editing or collaborating on internal marketing documents and creative materials
- Writing samples
- Example presentation

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
