Job DescriptionBrickley DeLong is a full-service, West-Michigan based, public accounting and business consulting firm with offices in Muskegon, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, and Hart. We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing team!

The Tax Manager position can be based at any of our four offices. This role requires the ability to manage a broad range of business and individual filings, supervise a team handling many projects simultaneously, and assist with tax research and planning. The right candidate will be an essential member of our team, providing services in tax, consulting, assurance and more. This person should have eight or more years of public accounting experience, with a CPA license required and a Masters in Taxation preferred.

Job  Responsibilities:As Tax Manager, you will be directly involved with the compliance function of client engagements, including the preparation and technical review of corporate, partnership, and personal income tax returns. Your role will include identifying tax planning calculations, research and consulting on complex tax matters, and assisting the firm in process improvement and best practices. You will manage and supervise multiple client engagements and must have the ability to work within strict deadlines without compromising excellent service. You must possess strong leadership and staff development skills, to help ensure the future growth of the firm. You should have a very strong working knowledge of tax software, CPA firm culture, and effective writing, communication, and tax research skills.

  • Accounting: 8 years (Preferred)
  • Tax: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CPA License (Required)
