<em>Job Title:</em> Career Services & Events Coordinator - Dedman College of Hospitality<br /> <em>Location:</em> Tallahassee, FL<br /> <em>Regular/Temporary:</em> Regular<br /> <em>Full/Part Time:</em> Full-Time<br /> <em>Job ID:</em> 57994<br /> Department <p><a href="https://dedman.fsu.edu/" >Dedman College of Hospitality</a></p>Responsibilities <ul><li>Responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of all professional development programs and education in the Dedman College of Hospitality.</li><li>Coordinates all student development events/activities for the college, including but not limited to the biannual Interview Prep Workshop, the biannual Career and Internship Expo, the Hospitality Mentor Program, the Honors and Awards Dinner and any additional activities/events aimed toward helping DCH students master the core/fundamental skills for effective communication, presentation, and job hunting.</li><li>Meet with students to discuss career opportunities and potential career paths. Incumbent will approve internship and work experiences, based on requirements set forth by the College, and will share job and internship postings with students.</li><li>Work closely with the Assistant Dean to assist in the cultivation of new employer relationships and to sustain current relationships. Functions include, but are not limited to, on-campus recruiting, familiarization trips, student group professional development trips, workshops, and employer development activities.
