Position Summary:
The Assembly Supervisor is a salaried position which includes supervising direct reports; Leads and Associates, in the assembly production of firearms and suppressors in a high-volume progressive factory setting. The Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for continuous improvement efforts associated with meeting performance standards such as: Safety, Quality, Throughput, Cost Efficiency in alignment with company objectives. The Assembly Supervisor will be able to perform all Departmental Supervisor position requirements and be responsible for various data collection and analysis associated with tiered daily management, and standard work evaluation and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:
*Supervise Production Firearms Manufacturing of Assembly, and associates performing the builds of firearms, including assuring staff compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws, most importantly regarding safety, quality, and function.
*Serve as point of contact for Management Team, including assistance in preparation of budgets, with focus on staffing, meeting all customers demands; along with assembly, and packing rates/standards/methods.
*Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and assuring compliance with safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with 5s requirements.
*Assure all documentation for area is up-to-date, relevant and available to personnel at points of use and that personnel are trained to requirements.
*Transactions of activities are proper and timely, including Oracle, Agile.
*Lead 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain the assembly facilities in good working order through sustainment activities, including requests for maintenance assistance for projects beyond the capability of personnel.
*Be able to have flexibility to assist department manager on being a point of contact on other shifts.

Education / Experience & Skills:
*High School Diploma or equivalent.
*2+ years Supervisory experience working in a packing, shipping or manufacturing capacity is strongly preferred.
*Working knowledge of inventory control systems.
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities are shifting regularly.
*Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
*Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal teams and external parties.
*Be able to have flexibility to assist department manager on being a point of contact on other shifts.
*Good communication Skills.
*Must work well in a team environment.
*Experience in handling multiple simultaneous tasks and requirements.
*Experience with Oracle is preferred.

Working Conditions:
*Able to lift up to 25 pounds
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
