As a Federally Qualified Health Center with a focus on integrated, primary care, we believe that every human has the right to access whole health. We have locations in Amherst, Huntington, and Worthington, as well as a school-based health center at Gateway Regional Middle/High School and a Community Center in Huntington.

A day in the life of this role:

The Optometrist reports to the Director of Vision Services and works with other services and administration to ensure that patients have convenient access to comprehensive optometric services. Become part of the community and practice full-scope optometry at our Huntington clinic with optional opportunities to see patients at our satellite outreach clinics. Optometrists will complete eye exams, order and review test results, provide diagnosis, write prescriptions for corrective eyewear, and maintain accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will be a Massachusetts licensed optometrist who is patient-centered, compassionate, and willing to work with a diverse population.

Requirements:

What we need from you:

  • Current Massachusetts therapeutics level Optometry License
  • Eligibility for board certification in Optometry
