Job Description:

We are seeking a Residential Painter Apprentice to assist with residential painting projects while learning proper preparation, application, and finishing techniques. No prior professional painting experience is required — we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and desire to learn a skilled trade.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing surfaces (sanding, scraping, patching, caulking)
• Mask and protect surfaces not being painted
• Help apply paint, primer, stain, and other coatings under supervision
• Set up and clean up job sites daily
• Transport tools and materials to and from sites
• Follow directions from lead painters and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working on ladders and outdoors in varying conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Good communication skills
• Punctual, professional, and a team player

Compensation:

$14.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending on experience and ability
