Director of Nursing / Healthcare Administrator

Location: Flagstaff, AZ (On-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (Flexible between 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:30 AM-4:30 PM)
Type: Contract (minimum 3 months, with possible extension)

What You Will Do

  • Lead all nursing operations and clinical programs across the facility

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies and quality standards

  • Develop, implement and oversee nursing policies, protocols and performance metrics

  • Design and manage staffing plans, schedules, recruitment and professional development

  • Cultivate a culture of patient-centered, dignified care and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (therapy, social services, medical staff, administration)

  • Monitor clinical outcomes, identify opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance care quality

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in Arizona (required)

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing minimum; BSN or higher strongly preferred

  • Extensive experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) required

  • Previous leadership experience (DON, ADON, or equivalent)

  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in skilled nursing and LTC settings

  • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to work autonomously, lead change and champion high standards

Role Details & Benefits

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Shift: Day shift only, no weekends

  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed

  • Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months, with possibility of extension
