Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Help Desk Support for our client. This role will support both traditional IT infrastructure and warehouse operational technologies that will keep our distribution environment running efficiently. The analyst is responsible for assisting with the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, network infrastructure, warehouse devices, and automation tools while providing direct end-user support.What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Provide end-user technical support for laptops, desktops, business software, and remote connectivity, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and application issues.
- Support network infrastructure including Cisco Meraki devices, wireless access points, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS services, and virtualization environments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot warehouse operational technology including RF units, Vocollect devices, ring scanners, Truck Spy scanners, and barcode/IBM printers to minimize workflow disruptions.
- Assist with security and monitoring systems including Verkada cameras, cybersecurity best practices, and system integrity reporting.
- Support IBMi (AS400) backup processes and general systems monitoring to ensure operational continuity.
- Provide audio/visual setup and troubleshooting for conference and boardroom technology.
- Assist with warehouse automation systems and emerging AI-driven tools while documenting processes and improvements.
- Assist with ERP system implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support
- Maintain equipment inventory, documentation, and confidentiality standards while escalating complex technical issues as needed.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- 1–3 years of IT or technical support experience preferred
- Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies
- Exposure to IBMi (AS400) environments is a plus
- Understanding of RF devices and wireless technologies
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn warehouse and operational systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills.
