Creative Pathways Inc., has an opening for a CNC Machinist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNC machinist capable of operating multi-axis CNC mills, lathes and manual machines. Parts fabricated on these machines will vary widely in material, complexity, and tolerance requirements.The ideal person for this role must be able to quickly produce quality hardware with minimal support and with significant attention to detail.
What you bring:
- Extensive running Manual Lathes and Bridgeport.
- Extensive CNC machining skills including the ability to program complex 3 and 5-axis parts
- Prior experience running Fadals, Doosan DVF 4000 and/or Mazak CNC machines with Smooth Technology.
- Prior experience running Okuma Lathe's.
- Conventional machining skills as well as the ability to read and understanding engineering drawings, specifications and blueprints.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certification related to Machining or Machine Tool Technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist role is required.
- Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
