Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team in Berkeley, California. This is a Long-term Contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in property management and affordable housing. The role requires excellent organizational skills and familiarity with industry-specific software to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily property management operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate administrative tasks, including tenant communications and document management.
• Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
• Assist in managing affordable housing programs, including HUD and Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH).
• Support leasing and tenant retention efforts by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor financial transactions and budgets to ensure accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to address property needs and schedule repairs.
• Prepare reports and documentation required for audits and compliance.
• Maintain CRM systems to ensure up-to-date tenant and property information.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders.• Proven experience in property management or affordable housing, including familiarity with HUD and LITCH.
• Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and their application in property management.
• Ability to handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Experience preparing compliance reports and managing financial records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
