Schedule: MondayFriday: 8:00 AM6:00 PM | Saturday: 9:00 AM1:00 PM

About the Opportunity:
A respected, independently operated hospital in Sidney, MT is currently hiring a Retail Pharmacist to support its busy outpatient pharmacy, located directly on the hospital campus. This contract offers a 13- or 26-week assignment with strong potential for extension. The role is ideal for pharmacists who bring retail or outpatient experience and are looking to contribute immediately in a patient-focused setting.

Facility Overview:
The hospital features a full range of services, including emergency care, surgery, labor & delivery, and intensive care. The attached retail pharmacy plays a vital role in community care, serving both discharged patients and local residents.

Position Responsibilities:

Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness prior to dispensing
Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions
Maintain daily pharmacy operations and oversee technician workflows
Ensure regulatory compliance with Montana state law and federal pharmacy guidelines
Work collaboratively with the broader pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure safe and efficient service

Required Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted Montana Pharmacist license
Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting
Availability to work full retail hours as scheduled, including Saturdays
Ready to begin work promptly following compliance clearance

Interview Process:

Virtual interview with Human Resources
Virtual meeting with Pharmacy Department leadership
A third round may be scheduled depending on applicant qualifications
