Treasury Analyst(Boston, MA-Hybrid)

EFE’s Financial Reporting and Treasury team is looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Treasury Analyst, who has excellent attention to detail, can work cross functionally, as well as, independently to help the Director of Financial Reporting and Treasury with day-to-day liquidity, approve payments, collect and process data for insurance, and improve the Treasury function.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cash and short-term investments portfolios
- Prepare materials for BOD meetings and senior management
- Prepare weekly cash reports for Treasurer/CFO
- Process electronic wire payments with a high rate of accuracy
- Own bank account and bank portal administration, and updating signature authority as needed
- Assist with treasury and intangible asset and goodwill fair value financial modeling
- Collect data for insurance renewal
- Process Certificates of Insurance
- Support ad-hoc analysis
- Support internal/external audit requirements, ensure effectiveness of SOX controls, and maintain compliance with policies
- Assist M&A team with due diligence and technical integration procedures
- Prepare disclosure schedules for the GAAP financial statements
- Research technical accounting issues as they arise to assist the general ledger team with proper treatment of complex transactions
- Maintain log of future non-recurring payments for M&A and other related activity to ensure on time payments and assist finance with cash flow projections
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in Corporate Treasury
- Strong modeling skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel) a plus
- Experience with PNC Pinacle or other treasury systems
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have good verbal and written skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and effectively with all levels of internal and external audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $63,900 - $85,200. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
