Entry Mid-Level Position
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented IT Hardware Support Technician to join our team.
This role focuses on supporting end-users, maintaining workstations and peripherals, resolving hardware issues, and assisting with day-to-day IT operations.
The ideal candidate is proactive, takes ownership of tasks, and is interested in growing their technical skills.
Compensation:
$56,500 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and fundamental software issues
- Set up new user workstations and ensure proper connectivity
- Perform equipment moves, upgrades, and replacements
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and consumables
- Assist with basic network equipment troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, cabling, switches, etc.)
- Document work performed in the ticketing system
- Collaborate with the IT team and escalate issues when necessary
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of IT support experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and component-level troubleshooting
- Basic familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) is beneficial
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, move, and set up equipment (up to 40 lbs) as needed
