Exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Specialist (NMCI-ACTR Analyst) at ATOLLO in the Washington, D.C. area.

The successful candidate will provide support to our customer in the Washington D.C. area. This is an onsite work opportunity with travel duties on a limited basis. YOUR ROLE AS THE Junior IT Specialist (NMCI-ACTR Analyst)

ATOLLO is seeking candidates willing to perform the tasks required to support clients with helpdesk questions and software issues. Some of the primary duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Deliver technical, operational, and systems analysis to support IT infrastructure and user needs.
  • Coordinate, manage, and implement procedures aimed at optimizing overall system performance.
  • Identify, coordinate, and deliver IT services in alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Monitor systems for performance issues and apply effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve any deficiencies.
  • Communicate system outages, interruptions, and downtime to supervisors and end-users in a timely manner.
  • Review and validate data within the NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) to ensure accuracy of delivery orders and proper resource allocation, including support for equipment technical refresh initiatives.
  • Support NMCI Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) to maintain operational readiness.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network components.
  • Contribute to projects involving the expansion and enhancement of existing network and communication infrastructure.
  • Enforce the Command's Information Assurance (IA) policies and assist in the investigation of suspected violations and compliance issues.
  • Provide end-user training on the effective use of hardware and software systems.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION ARE:

  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance and a current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT network administration or support.
  • Proficiency in performing network services, including installation, configuration, and testing of network infrastructure.
  • Experience operating, maintaining, and managing networks and firewalls-both hardware and software-to support secure information transmission across multiple spectrums.
  • Strong oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated technical creativity and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Junior IT Specialist (NMCI-ACTR Analyst)

To excel as the entry level NMCI-ACTR Analyst, you must possess a minimum of two (3) years of experience working within the Information Technology career field or related college education and/or coursework, have strong knowledge and experience with Local and Wide Area Networks and WLANs that includes network troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Someone with a Networking CSWF Certification (CompTIA Security+ or above). A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred. You must have excellent oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills and have a passion for identifying solutions to the customer's problems.
