Medical Assistant -&nbsp;&nbsp;(Williamsburg, VA) Location:&nbsp;Williamsburg, VA 23188 Schedule:&nbsp;M-F 8-4:30&nbsp; Interview:&nbsp;Virtual with Clinical Manager Pay:&nbsp;$20-24 DOE (18-22 perm) To Submit:&nbsp;Resume, References, MA cert&nbsp; Overview: New Cardiology office opening. Ideally looking for a local experienced and reliable Medical Assistant who also has experience in admin. This practice has 4 exam rooms with 1 provider who is in office around 28 hours a week. Job Responsibilities:

<li>Measure Vital Signs (Manually)</li>
<li>EKGs</li>
<li>Greet and Room Patients</li>
<li>Scheduling Appointments</li>
<li>Authorizations and Referrals</li>
<li>Preparing rooms for patients to be seen</li>
<li>Taking notes/Keeping records</li>
<li>Answering phones and screening patients</li>
<li>Reviewing Medication Records</li>
<li>Updating patient information EMR (Athena)</li>
<li>Maintaining supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Sterilizing Instruments</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications/Requirements:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>MA Diploma or Cert is fine upon temp hire. Must get National Cert upon Perm hire.</li>
<li>BLS (only required within the first month but they offer in house classes upon hire)&nbsp;</li>
<li>EMR (Will Train on&nbsp; Athena)</li>
