Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary and middle school students during the full school year. This full-time, contract position involves working with diverse caseloads to provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver instruction and interventions to students with disabilities across various subjects and skill areas
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize learning outes
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to promote inclusive education and improve student success
- Maintain pliance with state and federal special education regulations and documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary and middle school age students within special education settings
- Knowledge of current special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies
- Strong munication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and maintain accurate records
