This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional speech and language services to students across multiple elementary schools in San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive evaluations and assessments of speech and language skills for students in PreK-8th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students across 2-3 school sites, managing a caseload of up to 55 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
- Current California state license and CCC-SLP certification.
- Experience working with elementary school populations, particularly in a school setting.
- Strong munication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
