ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a school district in Concord, MA, to hire two full-time, contract Special Education Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. With potential for permanent hire and interviews happening now via Zoom, this is your chance to make a difference in students lives.
Position Highlights
- Location: Concord, MA
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract
- Contract Length: Start ASAP and work through December, with potential for extension until the end of the school year
- Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:45 AM3:25 PM (includes a 30-minute duty-free lunch)

Resource Teacher
- Grade Level: Primarily 2nd grade
- Caseload: 8-10 students
- Student Needs: Academic challenges, behavioral needs, developmental delays

Self-Contained Teacher
- Grade Level: Primarily K-2
- Caseload: 8-10 students
- Student Needs: Autism, developmental delays, communication, behavioral and functional needs, independent living skills (including toileting), and academic support
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
- Manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate student records
- Grade assignments and update quarterly progress reports
- Coordinate and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with other staff and families to support student success
- Perform related duties as required
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Educator License/Certificate in Special Education
- Experience working with students with varying abilities and needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
