This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and is based near Fort Meade, MD.
What Youll Do
As part of our team, you'll support critical systems engineering efforts that enhance mission effectiveness. You'll apply your experience in Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to help guide the future of secure, post-quantum-capable systems.
- Translate high-level system needs into specific, verifiable requirements
- Support system architecture alignment using frameworks like DoDAF and SOA
- Contribute to the design and integration of new capabilities as part of cross-functional teams
- Evaluate and refine requirements for hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components
- Collaborate across teams to resolve issues from design and test reviews
- Explore alternative system designs and architectures to meet evolving mission demands
- Define evaluation methods and test criteria for system validation
- Draft and refine key systems engineering documentation and interface specifications
- Participate in interface design and configuration change management
- Assess stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable technical functions
- Develop and validate lower-level system requirements from higher-level objectives
- Establish consistent reference points for design, development, and testing teams
- Design secure systems incorporating confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Apply foundational information assurance principles, such as cryptography, access control, and key management

Minimum Qualifications:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline)
- Demonstrated experience in post-quantum engineering and algorithm evolution
Experience Levels:
- Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Bachelor ' s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
