Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to support students academic, social, and emotional development in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
