The Bangor Daily News has an opening for an experienced reporter based in the Pittsfield/Newport area. The successful candidate will provide coverage of breaking news and important local, school, medical and business stories in Pittsfield, Newport and surrounding communities. Applicants must possess strong writing skills, a knowledge of the coverage area, prior experience writing for a daily newspaper and the ability to work effectively and collegially as part of a reporting team.
